Green Convene 2010 is presented in partnership with the AIA-CKC.

General Info

The Green Convene 2010 will showcase sustainability successes in an engaging program focusing on climate change, green building design, local foods, land conservation, transportation, and more. This unique and inspiring two-day program will present real world examples of sustainable actions from industry and grass roots experts, panel conversations, general interest, and technical breakout sessions.

The Green Convene 2010 will be held at Bellarmine Unversity in Frazier Hall on November 12 and November 13. A rough agenda can be found below. Please bear with us as we confirm talks and speakers; this information will be continually updated.

The cost of Green Convene is $20 for one day, or $35 for both, each which includes a box lunch. We urge you to register early, and you can do so online. Registration day-of will incure an addtional fee of $5.00.

We are gateful to the American Institute of Architects - Central Kentucky Chapter for co-hosting this event with us. Architects looking to gain Learning Units (LUs) should select the sessions that correspond to 1 AIA LU.

Green Convene 2010 is being held at Bellarmine University in the George G. Brown Center in Frazier Hall. Bellarmine University is located between Newburg Road and Norris Place in the Highlands of Louisville, Kentucky. The George G. Brown Center is most easily accessed from Norris Pl, turning southwest onto Knights Way. After turning onto Knights Way, the building is on the left. If you wish to take public transportation, the TARC routes 21 from Newburg Rd or 17 and 23 from the Highlands will take you to Bellarmine University. For more information see the TARC's Routes and Schedule page.
